I’m an adventure filmmaker and photographer based in South Lake Tahoe, California - or at least, that’s what I tell people.
Truth is, I’m just a guy from Las Vegas, Nevada who moved to Phoenix, Arizona and spent the first 25 years of my life barely surviving through 120° summers. It was miserable and I always knew there had to be a better life out there. So I met a girl (truthfully she’s more than just a girl but we’ll save that for another time), packed everything I owned into a car, and drove to Lake Tahoe in search of a more fulfilling life -
and here we are…
Now I spend my days in the outdoors with a camera in hand. Everything from snowboarding to camping, mountain biking to rock climbing - these little escapes from reality are at the center of my work. More importantly, its the people who take part in these activities that I’m undoubtedly drawn to.
I often find that their stories aren’t dissimilar from my own. Just a bunch of passionate people who tend to enjoy the simpler things in life, like climbing rocks or sleeping among the trees. People who left the chaos to find peace. Those are the stories that I strive to tell with my work, and hopefully, those stories will persuade others to get outside and enjoy a more adventurous life.
